Ducklings Take Leap of Faith to Follow Mom
Ducklings usually follow their mother anywhere. But these little ones weren’t so sure what to do when Mom hopped off a brick wall at University College Dublin in Ireland.
Bystanders gathered as the babies squeaked and their mom quacked encouragement.
They knew they shouldn’t touch the wildlife, but they tried to encourage the ducks to take the stairs. One student even offered his backpack as a landing pad.
In the end, though, all it took was one brave little duck to take the plunge, and the others safely followed.
