Video: Hero Dog Alerts Owner to Baby Dolphin in Trouble
A dolphin calf stranded on a seashore within the D.U. had an unlikely hero come to its rescue — Leia the canine.
Leia’s proprietor wrote on YouTube that he was fishing on Criccieth Beach on the coast of England earlier this month when he heard the canine barking to get his consideration. Once he realized she was hovering over what he described as a child dolphin or a younger harbor porpoise, he shortly referred to as her away.
He didn’t have a cellphone sign on the seashore, so he determined to attempt to assist the calf himself. He pushed the calf into deeper water and watched it begin swimming once more. After he left the seashore, he referred to as the coast guard to report the incident.
“If it wasn’t for my canine barking at me, I would have missed him, too!” he wrote within the video publish.
