THIS JUST IN: Witless Bay PUFFIN PATROL—IN ACTION!
JUST IN from Great White North reader Erin M.: “I came across this on CBC and thought that it was probably probably the most Cute Overload-applicable information story ever. In Witless Bay, Newfoundland, Canada, a gaggle of volunteers, generally known as the “Puffin Patrol” are serving to misguided child puffins (pufflings!) again to the wild. The birds are interested in the lights on shore and are taken off track. The Puffin Patrol gathers them up and releases them again into the wild!”
