Meet Blindy, The Inspirational Blind Penguin Who Is Looking For A New Home

This is Blindy. Blindy is a 12-week-previous blue penguin from New Zealand.

Blindy, as its identify suggests, was born with out functioning eyes, and subsequently cannot see. It additionally has a deformed beak and head, so Blindy cannot be gendered, both.

Blindy acquired seperated from its colony and has since been taken in by Shireen Helps, proprietor of Pohatu Penguins, a penguin sanctuary in Flea Bay, New Zealand.

Helps is now serving to the younger penguin discover ways to swim. Although Blindy is just too disabled to ever return to the wild, Helps hopes it should in the future be taken in by a zoo.
