Quilting Assistant
Jilly is a little bit of an irregular cat. She chases invisible spiders up the wall each morning. And within the evenings, when Mom tries to work on a quilting venture, that’s Jilly’s cue to drop no matter she’s doing (even sleeping) and bounce on the eating room desk, proper on to the quilt that Mom is engaged on. If there are cuttings, thread, or (her favorite) batting, she eats them (yum!) after which both chokes or throws up on the carpet. We attempt to hold her away, however she’s too quick!
