Meet Everett, Reno’s prime canine for a day. He’s a 5-yr-previous New Foundland lab combine and simply accomplished his one-day time period as mayor of the town on Thursday.

His journey into workplace started in November on the SPCA of Northern Nevada's annual “An Affur to Remember” Gala.
Lisa Rosen and Robert Stachow, from Carson City, bid on a reside public sale prize to win their canine a day as mayor of Reno.
Their bid of $B,one hundred gained Everett his brief time period as mayor.
All proceeds from the gala have been donated to the SPCA of Northern Nevada, a no-kill shelter based mostly in Reno.
Reno Mayor Hillary Schieve formally proclaimed Everett mayor of the day on Thursday in a ceremony at Reno City Hall.
