In 1985, online game designer Shigeru Miyamoto racked his mind making an attempt to invent a brand new character to be a sidekick for Mario, when instantly he noticed his cat sporting a towel and bathe cap. Excitedly, he introduced his inspiration to the Nintendo board of administrators — solely to find that the character of “Tweety Bird” was already trademarked.
